<p>It is an industry fact that 97 percent of network marketers fail with their primary MLM opportunity. With this being the case, what are the other 3 percent doing to succeed with their home businesses and explode their income?</p>
<p>The following five steps will outline the secrets that will help you to earn money in just the next 30 days with your MLM opportunity.</p>
<h2>Recruiting</h2>
<p>MLM opportunities can be worked on the Internet or offline, whichever you are more comfortable with. Either method requires that you build and maintain a list of contacts. Who are these contacts?</p>
<p>If you are working offline, contacts are anyone you come into contact with through the course of your daily life, e.g., your next door neighbor, plumber, mortgage broker, realtor, banker, waitress, etc. While hounding the people in your inner circle to convert to your opportunity is never a good idea if you want to keep your family and friends, inviting them to learn about the product or service you are providing. They may not join your business right away, but may be willing to help you get started in other ways. Remember, people can sense if you are trying to push them immediately and that is the ultimate turn off.</p>
<p>If your current opportunity is not your first, you have likely already worn through your friends and acquaintances, and will need to work outside that circle. Once your family and friends see you have a bit of success, they are more likely to be receptive to your business offering. Great ways to expand your inner circle are to join local business groups and leads groups such as the chamber of commerce or BNI. It is important to remember that when joining an opportunity, people do still join people and not companies. It will take time to build a relationship based on trust, so don&#8217;t rush the process.</p>
<p>If you opt to  uild your business online, you must still build relationships with people. Social media sites such as Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr and Digg are invaluable for cultivating online relationships. Remember to be consistent.</p>
<p>Be sure to have a lead capture page to send them to. Hook it up with an automatic email responder to help communicate with them instantly. And then follow up personally.</p>
<p>As you continue to meet people, it is very tempting in the beginning to recruit any warm body into your downline. But think about that! If you are with a Fortune 500 company and interviewing for key personnel, would that be your strategy? Of course not!</p>
<p>If you want to build a strong network marketing home business, you need to find the right mlm opportunity seekers. Look for potential downline who are driven to succeed with limitless passion for success. If you are pleading with people to join your business, you will have to beg them to stay month after month. And they will not help your business to grow!</p>
<h2>Belief in your product</h2>
<p>In order to share your product and MLM opportunity, enthusiastically with others, it is necessary to believe in both yourself. No one will want to buy your products or join your opportunity if you are not excited about it yourself. When choosing an MLM opportunity, make sure you carefully evaluate the product. </p>
<h2>Don&#8217;t be that pushy &#8216;car salesman&#8217; stereotype</h2>
<p>Nothing is more annoying than an overly aggressive, pushy sales attitude to prospective downline members. It will likely convince people you are not someone they want to work with. Focus on their satisfaction with your product and let them know that you truly care about their best interests. It will work wonders for your recruiting!</p>
<h2>Perserverance</h2>
<p>Network marketing takes hard work and time &#8212; don&#8217;t let anyone tell you differently. The goal is not quick and easy money, but to build a solid foundation of residual income. This will not happen overnight, but the payoff is worth the wait. Stick with it, and don&#8217;t give up!</p>
<h2>Embrace change</h2>
<p>People and society are ever changing and evolving. If you want to succeed, experiment with new marketing strategies. When you stop learning and leading, you become a follower. Not a good way to build an MLM opportunity as people follow leaders, not followers. </p>
